Single-Day Cellar Special

After a decade in the cellar, our 2015 Lamoreaux Vineyard Cabernet has reached its peak. Bold tannins have softened to silk, delicate aromas of licorice and cassis linger, and layers of black cherry remain rich and vibrant – proof that patience has its reward. Our members have taken note, and the few remaining cases are moving quickly.

Harvest 2015 was one of our earliest years on record. The persistent California drought and a cool spring during bloom resulted in low yields in the vineyard and an early bud break. Careful irrigation and canopy management were key and allowed our growers to maximize quality and create beautifully ripe and balanced fruit. The wines resulting from this 2015 vintage are some of our favorite to date.

These grapes are grown in the Oak Knoll bench in Lamoreaux Vineyard. Age has only improved this beautiful Cabernet, a favorite for many this fall season. Only 40 cases remain.
