94 Points & Gold

The 2018 Napa Valley Cabernet Franc

We are delighted to announce that our 2018 Napa Valley Cabernet Franc has been awarded 94 Points & Gold From The Press Democrat North Coast Wine Challenge!

Every year The Press Democrat tastes and awards the best wines from the North Coast American Viticulture Areas. An esteemed panel of judges use a blind-tasting method, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism with only a select few wines achieving gold medals.

The grapes for this wine are from the dry-farmed Frediani Vineyard in Calistoga and the famed Stagecoach Vineyard on Atlas Peak. The 2018 vintage was late, long, and bountiful leading to wines with finesse and balance. This Cabernet Franc boasts cherry, blackberry, and mocha on the nose with flavors of dried cherry and toasty vanilla on a broad palate with a long finish.

This wine reminds us all why Cabernet Franc has long been one of the most beloved wines we make each vintage with its bold and rich character and food-friendly versatility.
