We are pleased to announce the release of our long-awaited 2021 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and 2022 Napa Valley Chardonnay.
The 2021 Napa Valley Cabernet was recently awarded 95 Points from The Somm Journal Tasting Panel plus 93 Points from Wine Enthusiast.
For the 2021 Cabernet, the blend includes 52% Rutherford fruit from the Sequoia Grove and Tonella Estate Vineyards along with fruit from neighboring Morisoli Vineyard plus 20% Atlas Peak fruit from Stagecoach Vineyard.
This Cabernet opens with notes of blackberry cobbler, plum, and black currant, followed by warm aromatics of fresh tobacco, tamarind, hints of vanilla, and caramelized black fruit. On the palate, this Cabernet is silky and lively, with medium-to-full bodied texture and weight, and flavors of raspberry, black cherry, and black plum leading to an inviting mouthfeel and lengthy finish of cherry and dark, powdery cocoa, classic in Rutherford-based wines.
The 2022 Napa Valley Chardonnay has received 92 Points from Wine Enthusiast plus Double Gold in the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
This Chardonnay has bright aromas of lemon curd, grapefruit, orange blossom, and wet stone with hints of jasmine and vanilla plus a creamy mouthfeel and bright acidity leading to notes of lemon oil and a long finish.
